The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
